Harwood Homes Woodview showhome at The Lakes, Tauranga was crowned the National Winner of the Showhome category in this year’s Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards.

Inspired by the ideas of the people of the Bay, this superior showhome was based on 10 years of feedback and listening to customers. 

The competition’s judges described the home as classical contemporary, designed and built around low-maintenance principles and some sustainable features.  

“This house sums up what show homes are all about – superbly planned and laid out, building on the team’s experience over many years, and providing future clients insight into how the builders understand homeowners’ needs and aspirations,” said the judges.

The award, open to show homes and spec homes throughout New Zealand, was judged on workmanship, design, functionality and style in relation to its purpose as a show home or spec home.
