The process of building our New Retirement Home began with visiting every possible Showhome in Tauranga. Most of the visits were generally quite short, however at The Harwood Showhome, we found ourselves lingering around, mainly in admiration of the design features and workmanship. The high quality that we observed overall was eye catching.
From that point on we were sold on the Building Company that we would use. The “Quality” concept started then and ended with the home that we now enjoy.
Throughout the whole process, starting with concept planning, the Architect, price negotiation, through to the completed build, was seamless. Harwood’s selection of Subcontractors and Suppliers is impressive. They are great to deal with and their advice with suggested changes here and there proving to be invaluable.
Nothing is complete without “The Look.” Harwoods Interior and Exterior design consultant is fantastic, presenting us with something that was, by far, never envisaged.
We now live in our new home and love it to bits.
In 2018 our home was selected as a regional finalist for the Registered Master Builders House of the Year, taking out a top placing in its category. This is testimony to the product we received from Harwood Homes – “Quality Start to Finish”
