HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Early Beginnings
At 3yrs old, Dave Harwood tries his hand at building his Grandparents home. Dave always had a desire to create. So much so that when he was a young boy he built a tree hut in the neighbour's prized tree because it was better than what he had in his own backyard! |
1988
Dave and Kirsty established the partnership known as David Harwood Builders. Together they did everything themselves from building to bookwork. The company Harwood Homes was formed in 1993 and the first show home was built creating a buzz of interest, selling before it was even finished! |
Today
Over 30 years later the Harwood Homes team are a mainstay in residential building as they continue to Design and Build homes around the Bay of Plenty. Their home designs have evolved over the years along with their collection of Registered Master Builder awards resonating quality homes around the Bay. |
