When viewing the show home of Harwood Home in The Lakes area - our initial thought was that our budget would not be enough - after a friendly and informative consultation with the home consultant we found that we could achieve our dream home. This was the beginning of our exciting and happy experience of building our first home with Harwood Homes.

After our first visit to their show home we had regular correspondence with Harwood's home consultant while we continued touring around New Zealand in our motorhome. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly which gave us more confidence in going ahead with our plans. As other people have mentioned we too did quite a bit of checking out of builders in the Tauranga area and Harwood Homes were by far the only building company that no one had a bad word to say about.
Once returning to Papamoa - our journey with our home being built went ahead with efficient, professional and friendly communication. Of course no new build is without it's problems and these were dealt with quickly in the same manner as we had throughout our experience in dealing with everyone - from Dave, Trish and all the contractors. Thinking back to our building experience one thing that stands out is that we felt involved with the total process with everyone making us feel welcome.
